Hungarian Garlic & Paprika Pork Stew

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil or lard and sauté onions until soft and golden.
  2. Add garlic, stir briefly. Remove from heat and mix in paprika.
  3. Add pork cubes and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add tomato and pepper if using.
  5. Pour in water or broth and stir well.
  6. Simmer on low heat for 1.5–2 hours until meat is tender and sauce is thick.
  7. Adjust seasoning and serve hot with bread, potatoes, or nokedli.
