
Ingredients
- 500 g potatoes (boiled)
- 150 g flour
- 1 egg
- 120 g semolina
- pinch of salt
- 100 g breadcrumbs
- 50 g butter
- 3 tbsp sugar
Instructions
- Boil potatoes, peel and mash while warm.
- Add egg, flour, semolina, and salt. Mix to make a soft dough.
- Shape dough into small balls or short dumplings.
- Cook in boiling salted water 3–4 minutes until they float.
- In a pan melt butter and toast breadcrumbs with sugar until golden.
- Roll the cooked dumplings in the toasted breadcrumbs.
- Serve warm (optionally with jam or powdered sugar).
