
Instructions
1. Prepare the potatoes
Boil potatoes with skin on until soft. Peel while warm and mash until smooth. Let cool completely.
2. Make the dough
Mix mashed potatoes with egg, salt, and flour. Knead gently until soft dough forms (not sticky).
3. Prepare plums
Wash and pit plums. Optionally place a small sugar cube inside each.
4. Shape dumplings
Flatten a piece of dough, place a plum inside, and carefully wrap it into a ball.
5. Cook
Boil dumplings in salted water. Once they float, cook for another 3–5 minutes.
6. Coat
Melt butter in a pan, toast breadcrumbs until golden. Roll cooked dumplings in breadcrumbs, then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
