
Ingredients:
Dough:
- 400 g all-purpose flour
- 200 g butter (cold, cubed)
- 100 g sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 2–3 tbsp sour cream or milk
Plum filling:
- 600–800 g plums, halved and pitted
- 2–3 tbsp sugar (to taste)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1–2 tbsp breadcrumbs or semolina (to absorb juice)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and butter until crumbly.
- Add egg and sour cream (or milk) and knead into a soft dough.
- Divide dough into two parts and chill for 20–30 minutes.
- Mix plums with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
- Roll out the first dough layer and place in a baking tray.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs or semolina over the base.
- Arrange plum halves over the dough.
- Cover with the second dough layer or crumble it on top.
- Bake for 35–45 minutes until golden and bubbling.
- Let cool before slicing.
