
🇭🇺 Hungarian Mushroom Soup (Gombaleves)
🧾 Ingredients:
- 400 g mushrooms (sliced)
- 1 large onion (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp butter or oil
- 1–2 tbsp Hungarian sweet paprika
- 1 tsp dried dill (or fresh dill)
- 1 tbsp flour (optional, for thickening)
- 700 ml vegetable or chicken broth
- 200 ml milk or cream
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
- Salt and black pepper (to taste)

👩🍳 Instructions:
- Sauté base:
Heat butter in a pot and cook onion until soft. - Add mushrooms and cook until they release their liquid and become tender.
- Remove from heat and stir in paprika.
- Build soup:
Sprinkle in flour (if using) and mix well. - Pour in broth, add dill, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 10–15 minutes.
- Finish:
Add milk or cream and heat gently (do not boil). - Stir in lemon juice for a fresh touch.
