
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan or line with parchment.
- Make meat mixture
- In a bowl, combine ground meat, soaked breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, raw egg, paprika, marjoram, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Assemble loaf
- Spread half the meat mixture into the loaf pan.
- Lay the hard-boiled eggs in a row down the center.
- Cover with remaining meat mixture, sealing the eggs inside. Smooth the top.
- Bake
- Brush top with a little oil or melted butter.
- Bake uncovered for 45–55 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve
- Cool slightly, then slice so that each portion shows the beautiful egg cross-section.
- Often served with potatoes, pickles, or a light salad.
