- 500 g flour
- 250 g butter or lard
- 100 g ground walnuts
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder (optional)
- Pinch of salt
- 2–3 tbsp sour cream or milk (if needed)

- Powdered sugar (vanilla optional)
Instructions:
- Mix flour, ground walnuts, sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add butter and egg yolks, then knead into a soft dough.
- Add a little sour cream if needed for smooth texture.
- Let dough rest for 20–30 minutes.
- Roll into small crescents (half-moon shapes).
- Place on baking tray.
- Bake at 180°C for 12–15 minutes until lightly golden.
- While still warm, roll in powdered sugar.
- Let cool completely and dust again with sugar if needed.
