- Prepare the mixture
Squeeze excess milk from the soaked bread and place in a bowl with the ground meat. - Add seasonings
Mix in onion, garlic, egg, paprika, mustard, parsley, salt, and pepper. Combine thoroughly until well mixed. - Shape the patties
Form oval or round patties with slightly wet hands. - Coat with breadcrumbs
Roll each patty lightly in breadcrumbs for a crispy exterior. - Fry
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the fasírt for about 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked inside. - Serve
Traditionally served with mashed potatoes, rice, pickles, or potato salad.
