Perfect as a snack, side, or appetizer.
π Ingredients
- 3 medium potatoes, peeled & grated
- 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or mix)
- 1 large egg
- 2β3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp grated onion (optional but tasty)
- 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- Chopped parsley (for garnish)
- Oil, for frying

- Prep the Potatoes
- Grate potatoes and squeeze out as much liquid as possible using a towel.
- Mix
- In a bowl, combine potatoes, cheese, egg, flour, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until it holds together.
- Shape
- Scoop spoonfuls and flatten slightly into small patties.
- Fry
- Heat oil over medium heat.
- Fry patties 3β4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve
- Drain on paper towels.
- Sprinkle with parsley and serve hot.

- Add a pinch of paprika or chili flakes for heat π₯
- Serve with sour cream, garlic sauce, or ranch
- Air fryer: 375Β°F (190Β°C) for 12β15 minutes, flip halfway
