Instructions:
- Preheat Oven
- Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.
- Cook the Beef

- Drain excess grease. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Prepare the Sauce
- In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, milk, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese until smooth.
- Layer the Casserole
- Arrange half the sliced potatoes in the bottom of the baking dish.
- Spread half the beef mixture, then half the soup mixture.
- Repeat the layers and finish with remaining cheese on top.
- Bake
- Cover with foil and bake for 60 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for another 15–20 minutes, until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Serve
- Let cool slightly before serving. Pairs perfectly with a green salad or steamed veggies! 🥗
💡 Tips:
- You can substitute ground turkey or sausage for the beef.
- Add sliced mushrooms, bell peppers, or spinach for extra flavor.
- For a creamier texture, use half-and-half instead of milk.
