
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Sauté onions
Heat oil in a large pan.
Add sliced onion and cook until soft and golden.
2. Add garlic + carrots
Cook 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add cabbage
Add chopped cabbage and stir well.
It will look like a lot, but it shrinks!
4. Add seasoning
Add:
- Salt
- Pepper
- Paprika
- Cumin (optional but gives a “meaty” depth)
Mix well.
5. Add tomato paste + water
Stir in tomato paste and pour in the water or broth.
Cover and cook 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
6. Reduce & caramelize
Remove lid, increase heat slightly, and cook until
the water evaporates and the cabbage gets slightly golden.
THIS is where the magic flavor happens. 😍
