Instructions
1. Prep the Potatoes
- Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly. Pat them dry.
- Prick each potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape.
- Rub each potato with olive oil and sprinkle evenly with salt.
2. Air Fry the Potatoes
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket, making sure they’re not touching.
- Cook for 35–45 minutes, turning halfway through. Cooking time depends on the size of the potatoes. They’re done when a fork easily pierces the center.
3. Serve
- Slice open the potatoes and fluff the insides with a fork.
- Top with butter, sour cream, cheese, or any favorite toppings.
Tips:
- For extra crispy skin, rub the potatoes with a little garlic powder or paprika along with salt.
- You can store leftover baked potatoes in the fridge for up to 4 days and reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to restore crispiness.
- Smaller potatoes cook faster, so adjust cooking time if needed.
If you want, I can also give a stuffed air fryer baked potato version—with cheese, bacon, and sour cream baked right inside, perfect for a meal.
Do you want me to share that version too?
