
Ingredients:
For the crust:
- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 150 g butter (cold, cubed)
- 80 g sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 2–3 tbsp cold water
- Pinch of salt
For the filling:
- 300 g fruit jam (apricot, plum, or berry)
- 200 g ground walnuts (optional)
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Rub in butter until the mixture becomes crumbly.
- Add egg yolk and cold water, then knead into a smooth dough.
- Chill the dough for 20–30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough and press it into a tart pan.
- Spread jam evenly over the crust.
- Mix walnuts with sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the jam if using.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden.
- Let cool before slicing.
