Hungarian Cucumber Salad (Uborkasaláta)

Ingredients

  • 2 large cucumbers, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp white vinegar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Sweet Hungarian paprika, for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Toss cucumber slices with salt and let sit 10 minutes.
  2. Gently squeeze out excess liquid.
  3. Mix vinegar, water, sugar, garlic, and oil.
  4. Pour dressing over cucumbers and toss well.
  5. Sprinkle with paprika before serving.
