
Hungarian Cucumber Salad (Uborkasaláta)
Ingredients
- 2 large cucumbers, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp white vinegar
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 clove garlic, finely minced
- 1 tbsp oil
- Sweet Hungarian paprika, for sprinkling
Instructions
- Toss cucumber slices with salt and let sit 10 minutes.
- Gently squeeze out excess liquid.
- Mix vinegar, water, sugar, garlic, and oil.
- Pour dressing over cucumbers and toss well.
- Sprinkle with paprika before serving.
