
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 ¼ tsp (1 packet) dry yeast
- ¾ cup warm milk
- 2 tbsp oil
- Oil for frying
Toppings (classic):
- Garlic (crushed or garlic water)
- Sour cream
- Grated cheese

Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, and oil. Mix into a soft dough.
- Knead for a few minutes, cover, and let rise 1 hour until doubled.
- Heat oil in a deep pan.
- Divide dough into balls and flatten into discs.
- Fry each piece until golden on both sides.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Rub with garlic, then top with sour cream and cheese.
