
Ingredients:
Dough:
- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 250 g butter, softened
- 50 g sugar
- 1 egg
- 7 g dry yeast
- 120 ml warm milk
- Pinch of salt
Filling:
- 250 g ground walnuts
- 150–200 g apricot jam
- 100 g sugar
Chocolate Glaze:
- 150 g dark chocolate
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions:
- Dissolve yeast in warm milk and let sit for 5–10 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add butter, egg, and yeast mixture. Knead into a smooth dough.
- Divide dough into 3 equal parts.
- Roll out the first layer and place it in a baking tray.
- Spread apricot jam over the dough, then sprinkle with walnut-sugar mixture.
- Add second dough layer and repeat jam + walnut filling.
- Place final dough layer on top.
- Let rest for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 35–40 minutes until golden.
- Cool completely.
- Melt chocolate with butter and spread over the top.
- Let glaze set, then slice into squares.
