🔥 Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Chicken
    • Place chicken in a bowl and pour over buttermilk.
    • Add a bit of salt + pepper.
    • Cover and let sit at least 1 hour (overnight for best flavor!).
  2. Season & Coat
    • In a large bowl, mix flour + remaining seasoning.
    • Remove each piece from the buttermilk, let excess drip off.
    • Dredge in seasoned flour, press flour firmly to stick.
    • Tip: Dip back into buttermilk + flour again for extra crispy!
  3. Fry
    • Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F / 175°C.
    • Fry chicken pieces 10–15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
    • Internal temp should reach 165°F / 74°C.
    • Drain on paper towels or a wire rack.
  4. Serve & Enjoy
    • Sprinkle a little extra salt while still hot.
    • Serve with fries, coleslaw, or biscuits 😋
