
🔥 Instructions:
- Marinate the Chicken
- Place chicken in a bowl and pour over buttermilk.
- Add a bit of salt + pepper.
- Cover and let sit at least 1 hour (overnight for best flavor!).
- Season & Coat
- In a large bowl, mix flour + remaining seasoning.
- Remove each piece from the buttermilk, let excess drip off.
- Dredge in seasoned flour, press flour firmly to stick.
- Tip: Dip back into buttermilk + flour again for extra crispy!
- Fry
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F / 175°C.
- Fry chicken pieces 10–15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Internal temp should reach 165°F / 74°C.
- Drain on paper towels or a wire rack.
- Serve & Enjoy
- Sprinkle a little extra salt while still hot.
