Meat Stuffed Pancakes (Hungarian Style) – Hortobágyi Palacsinta

Ingredients:

For the pancakes:

  • 200 g (1½ cups) all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 300 ml (1¼ cups) milk
  • 100 ml (about 1/2 cup) water
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Oil for cooking

For the filling:

  • 300 g (2/3 lb) cooked chicken (or veal/pork), finely chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 100 ml (1/2 cup) sour cream

For the sauce:

  • 200 ml (3/4 cup) sour cream
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • A little broth or water to thin
  • Salt to taste
