
Instructions:
- Heat oil and sauté onions until soft and golden.
- Add garlic, remove from heat, stir in paprika quickly.
- Add beef, salt, and pepper, then sear for a few minutes.
- Add tomatoes, peppers, tomato paste, and a little water.
- Cover and simmer on low heat until meat is tender (about 1.5–2 hours). Add water as needed.
- For a slightly lecsós (pepper-tomato) style, keep some sauce and vegetables chunky.
- For nokedli, mix flour, eggs, salt, and water into a thick batter.
- Drop into boiling salted water and cook until they float. Drain.
- Beat eggs in a pan, add cooked nokedli, and gently scramble together.
- Serve hot stew with egg nokedli on the side or mixed in.
