Instructions

  1. Heat oil or lard in a large pan and cook onions until soft and golden.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in paprika quickly.
  3. Add chicken pieces and coat well in the paprika mixture.
  4. Add garlic, tomato, pepper, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour in broth or water, cover, and simmer for 40–50 minutes until tender.
  6. Mix sour cream with flour until smooth.
  7. Stir a little hot sauce into the sour cream mixture, then return it to the pan.
  8. Simmer a few more minutes until creamy.
  9. Serve hot with nokedli, rice, or bread.
