
Ingredients:
Dough:
- 1 kg potatoes (boiled and mashed)
- 250–300 g all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1 pinch salt
Filling:
- 10–12 plums (pitted)
- Sugar (for filling)
- Cinnamon (optional)
Coating:
- 100 g breadcrumbs
- 50 g butter
- 2–3 tbsp sugar

Instructions:
- Prepare dough:
Mix mashed potatoes with egg, salt, and flour to form a soft dough. - Shape dumplings:
Roll out dough and cut into squares. Place a plum in the center of each, add a little sugar (and cinnamon), then seal into balls. - Cook:
Boil dumplings in salted water. When they float to the top, cook for 2–3 more minutes. - Prepare coating:
Melt butter, add breadcrumbs, and toast until golden. Stir in sugar. - Finish:
Roll cooked dumplings in the sweet breadcrumb mixture.
