- 500 g flour
- 300 g mashed potatoes (cooled)
- 25 g fresh yeast or 7 g dry yeast
- 200 ml warm milk
- 100 g butter or lard
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 egg (for brushing)
- Optional: sesame seeds or grated cheese for topping

Sweet Hungarian Style
- Dissolve yeast in warm milk with sugar.
- Mix flour, mashed potatoes, salt, butter, egg, and yeast mixture.
- Knead into a soft dough and let rise for 1 hour.
- Roll out dough and fold a few times for layers.
- Cut into small rounds.
- Place on baking tray and let rest 15–20 minutes.
- Brush with beaten egg.
- Bake at 180°C for 20–25 minutes until golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
