
Hungarian Lángos
📝 Ingredients:
- 500 g (4 cups) all-purpose flour
- 7 g (1 packet) dry yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 300 ml (1¼ cups) warm water or milk
- 2 tbsp oil (plus more for frying)

🥣 Instructions:
- In a small bowl, mix warm water (or milk), sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
- In a large bowl, combine flour and salt.
- Add the yeast mixture and oil, then knead into a soft dough.
- Cover and let rise for about 1 hour, until doubled in size.
- Heat oil in a deep pan (medium-high heat).
- Divide the dough into small balls, then flatten each into a round shape (like a small pizza).
- Fry each piece in hot oil until golden brown on both sides (about 2–3 minutes per side).
- Drain on paper towels.
