
Ingredients:
Dough:
- 250 g cream cheese, softened
- 250 g butter, softened
- 300 g all-purpose flour
- Pinch of salt
Filling:
- 250 g ground walnuts
- 100 g sugar
- 2–3 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Apricot jam (optional)
For topping:
- Powdered sugar
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese and butter until smooth.
- Add flour and salt, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Wrap the dough and chill for at least 1 hour.
- For the filling, combine walnuts, sugar, milk, and vanilla into a thick paste.
- Roll the dough out thinly on a floured surface.
- Cut into small squares.
- Place a small spoonful of walnut filling (or a little jam) in the center.
- Fold opposite corners together or roll into crescent shapes.
- Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15–18 minutes until lightly golden.
- Cool slightly and dust generously with powdered sugar.
