Sweet Hungarian Style
- 300 g flour
- 200 g butter or margarine
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- Pinch of salt
Filling:
- Homemade apricot jam
Glaze:
- 150–200 g dark chocolate
- 1–2 tbsp oil or butter
Instructions:
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, vanilla, salt, and butter until crumbly.
- Add egg yolk and knead into a smooth dough.
- Let dough rest for 20–30 minutes.
- Roll out and cut into circles.
- Bake at 180°C for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden.
- Let cookies cool completely.
- Spread apricot jam between two cookies to sandwich them.
- Dip or cover tops with melted chocolate glaze.
- Let set before serving.
