
Ingredients:
Cake:
- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 150 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 120 ml milk
- 100 ml strong brewed coffee (cooled)
- 100 g butter (melted)
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Coffee glaze (optional):
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 1–2 tbsp strong coffee
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a cake pan.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add melted butter, milk, coffee, and vanilla. Mix well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients into the wet mixture and stir until smooth.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool completely.
Coffee Glaze (optional):
- Mix powdered sugar with strong coffee until smooth.
- Drizzle over the cooled cake.
