
Ingredients:
- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 200 g butter (cold, cubed)
- 100 g sour cream
- 1 egg yolk
- Pinch of salt
Walnut Filling:
- 200 g ground walnuts
- 80–100 g sugar
- 1–2 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Zest of 1 lemon (optional)
For coating:
- Powdered sugar
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix flour and salt.
- Add butter and rub into the flour until crumbly.
- Add egg yolk and sour cream, then knead into a soft dough.
- Wrap dough and chill for 30 minutes.
- For the filling, mix walnuts, sugar, milk, vanilla, and lemon zest until a thick paste forms.
- Roll dough out thin and cut into small triangles.
- Place a small amount of filling on each piece and roll into crescent shapes.
- Place on a baking tray.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 12–15 minutes, until lightly golden.
- While still warm, roll in powdered sugar.
