Hungarian Chilled Cherry Soup (Meggyleves)

Ingredients:

  • 700 g sour cherries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 liter water
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2–3 cloves
  • 200 ml sour cream
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla sugar
  • Juice of half a lemon
