Honey Buttermilk Bread Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 envelope yeast (about 2 1/4 teaspoons)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup warm water (105-110°F)
  • Pinch of ginger (optional, helps activate yeast)
  • 2 cups warm buttermilk
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 5 1/2 – 6 cups all-purpose flour
