Galuska (Hungarian Dumplings) 🇭🇺

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup (180 ml) water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl mix flour and salt.
  2. Add eggs and water, then mix until a thick sticky batter forms.
  3. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  4. Using a spoon, grater, or dumpling maker, drop small pieces of dough into the boiling water.
  5. Cook for 2–3 minutes until dumplings float to the surface.
  6. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain.
  7. Toss with a little butter or oil to prevent sticking.
