Fánk – Hungarian donut

🇭🇺 Fánk (Hungarian Donuts)

Fánk are light, fluffy yeast-raised donuts that have been a beloved part of Hungarian cuisine for generations. Traditionally enjoyed during Carnival season (Farsang), these golden treats are deep-fried until perfectly puffed and often filled with apricot jam or dusted generously with powdered sugar. Their soft texture and delicate sweetness make them a favorite for breakfast, dessert, or an afternoon coffee break.
