
🇭🇺 Easy Hungarian Goulash
🧾 Ingredients:
- 700 g beef stew meat (cut into cubes)
- 2 onions (chopped)
- 2 tbsp oil or lard
- 2 tbsp Hungarian paprika
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 tomatoes (chopped)
- 1 green bell pepper (chopped)
- 2 potatoes (cubed)
- 1 carrot (sliced)
- 1.2 L beef broth or water
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp caraway seeds (optional)

👩🍳 Instructions:
- Heat oil in a large pot and sauté onions until golden.
- Remove from heat briefly and stir in the paprika to avoid burning.
- Add beef cubes and cook until browned.
- Stir in garlic, tomatoes, bell pepper, and caraway seeds. Cook for a few minutes.
- Pour in the broth, season with salt and pepper, then simmer on low heat for about 1½ hours until the beef becomes tender.
- Add potatoes and carrots, then continue cooking for 20–25 minutes until vegetables are soft.
- Adjust seasoning and serve hot with crusty bread.
