
Instructions:
- Grate the cabbage and sprinkle with salt. Let it sit for 15–20 minutes, then squeeze out excess liquid.
- Heat oil or lard in a large pan.
- Add sugar and let it caramelize lightly.
- Add the cabbage and cook slowly over medium heat until golden brown and soft, stirring often.
- Season generously with black pepper.
- Meanwhile, cook noodles in salted boiling water until tender. Drain well.
- Mix the cooked noodles with the fried cabbage.
- Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm, traditionally with extra black pepper on top.
