Fresh mint is one of the most popular herbs for homemade teas and refreshing drinks. Its cool aroma and pleasant flavor make it an easy ingredient to enjoy after a meal or as part of a relaxing daily routine.
However, social-media claims that one glass of mint tea can eliminate fatty liver, diabetes, or chronic fatigue are not supported by reliable evidence. There is currently not enough evidence to show that peppermint leaves can treat or cure these conditions. (NCCIH)
Instead, mint tea can simply be enjoyed as a flavorful, caffeine-free beverage.
