
Ingredients:
Cake:
- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 200 g sugar
- 150 g ground walnuts
- 3 eggs
- 120 ml milk
- 120 g butter, melted
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
For Topping (Optional):
- Powdered sugar
- Chopped walnuts
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, ground walnuts, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, melted butter, milk, and vanilla.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Dust with powdered sugar and sprinkle with chopped walnuts if desired.
