  • 700 g pork (cubed)
  • 1 large onion (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp oil or lard
  • 1 tbsp sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 pepper
  • salt
  • 200 ml water

For the dumplings (Galuska)

  • 2 eggs
  • 200 g flour
  • 100 ml water
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pot and sauté chopped onion until soft.
  2. Remove from heat, add paprika, mix, then add pork cubes.
  3. Add garlic, tomato, pepper, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour in water and simmer 45–60 minutes until meat is tender.

5. Mix eggs, flour, water, and salt to make a thick batter.
6. Drop small pieces into boiling salted water.
7. Cook 2–3 minutes until they float, then drain.

Serve pork stew over the dumplings.
