
Hungarian Cold Dough Nut Cookies – Recipe Only
Ingredients – Dough Layers:
- 300 g plain biscuits, finely crushed
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 100 g butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Ingredients – Walnut Cream Filling:
- 200 g butter, softened
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup ground walnuts
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Mix crushed biscuits, cocoa powder, and powdered sugar.
- Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla; mix into a soft dough.
- Divide dough into two equal parts.
- Cream butter with powdered sugar, add walnuts and vanilla.
- Press one dough layer into a lined pan.
- Spread walnut cream evenly on top.
- Cover with second dough layer, pressing gently.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Slice and serve cold.
