  • 2 tbsp oil or lard
  • 2 large onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Hungarian sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 green pepper, sliced (optional)
  • 1 tomato, chopped (optional)
  • 1 cup chicken broth or water
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp flour

  1. Heat oil in a pot, sauté onions until soft and lightly golden.
