
Cheesy Beef Stuffed Puff Pastry Squares
Ingredients:
- 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup marinara or tomato sauce
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
- In a pan, sauté onion until soft. Add garlic, then ground beef. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and seasoning. Cook until browned. Let cool slightly.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut into equal squares.
- Place a spoon of beef in the center of each square. Add a little tomato sauce and mozzarella.
- Fold pastry over filling to form a sealed square. Press edges well.
- Arrange in baking dish. Brush tops with beaten egg.
- Bake 25–30 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
- Serve hot.
