A classic dessert with tender apples, warm spices, and a buttery crustβeasy enough for any day, delicious enough for guests!
π Ingredients
- 2 pie crusts (store-bought or homemade)
- 5β6 apples, peeled & sliced
- ΒΎ cup sugar (white or brown)
- 2 tbsp flour or cornstarch
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ΒΌ tsp nutmeg (optional)
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp butter (small pieces)
- Pinch of salt

- Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
- Line a pie dish with one crust.
- In a bowl, mix apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, vanilla, and salt.
- Pour filling into the crust; dot with butter.
- Cover with the second crust, seal edges, and cut small slits on top.
- Bake 45β50 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Cool slightly, slice, and enjoy!
