Ingredients
Pastry
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
Apple Filling
- 2 apples, peeled & diced
- 2 tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp butter
Almond Filling
- ½ cup almond flour
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Topping
- Sliced almonds
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Powdered sugar or glaze (optional)
Instructions
- Apple filling
- Cook apples with butter, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice until soft. Cool.
- Almond cream
- Mix almond flour, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
- Assemble
- Roll puff pastry and cut into squares.
- Spread almond cream in center, top with apples.
- Fold corners or edges to shape.
- Bake
- Brush with egg wash.
- Sprinkle with sliced almonds.
- Bake at 190°C / 375°F for 18–22 minutes until golden.
- Finish
- Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle glaze.
