🥛🍞 Milk Brioche Rolls (Soft & Fluffy)

Ingredients

  • 3½ cups (440 g) all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup (50 g) sugar
  • 2¼ tsp (7 g) instant yeast
  • ¾ cup warm milk
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • ¼ cup (60 g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tsp salt

Egg Wash

  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let stand 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add eggs, butter, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour and knead 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1–1½ hours until doubled.
  5. Divide into 12–15 pieces, shape into rolls, and place on a lined baking tray.
  6. Cover and let rise again 30–40 minutes.
  7. Brush with egg wash.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 18–22 minutes until golden.
  9. Brush with melted butter (optional) and serve warm.
