Ingredients
- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 large yellow onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp sugar (optional, helps caramelize the onions)
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth (low-sodium)
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Swiss or Gruyère cheese
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme (or a few fresh sprigs)
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
