1. Prepare the Base
- Crush the pretzel sticks into small pieces.
- In a bowl, combine the pretzels, graham cracker crumbs, and melted butter.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a lined baking dish.
2. Make the Caramel Layer
- In a saucepan, heat the brown sugar and sweetened condensed milk over medium heat.
- Stir continuously for about 5 minutes until thickened and lightly golden.
- Remove from heat and mix in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the warm caramel mixture over the base and spread evenly.
3. Add the Chocolate Layer
- Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave (30-second intervals, stirring each time).
- Pour over the caramel layer and smooth it out.
- Drizzle caramel sauce on top and create swirls if desired.
- Finish with a generous sprinkle of sea salt.
4. Chill
Refrigerate for 2–3 hours or until fully set.
