
👨🍳 Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook meat: In a large skillet, brown the ground beef, Italian sausage, and diced onion over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
- Add garlic, marinara sauce, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10–15 minutes.
- Prepare cheese layer: In a bowl, mix cream cheese, ricotta, sour cream, Parmesan, egg (if using), and 1 cup of mozzarella until smooth.
- Assemble lasagna in a 9×13 baking dish:
- Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom.
- Add a layer of noodles.
- Spread half of the cheese mixture.
- Add a layer of meat sauce.
- Repeat layers, ending with noodles and meat sauce on top.
- Sprinkle remaining 1 cup of mozzarella over the top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove foil and bake another 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden. - Let rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing.
💡 Tips:
- Use oven-ready noodles to skip boiling.
- Letting it rest makes slicing easier and neater.
- Add fresh basil or parsley for extra flavor and color.
