- Strawberry Puree
- Blend strawberries into puree. Set aside Β½ cup for frosting.
- Make the Cake Batter
- In a large bowl, mix cake mix + strawberry gelatin.
- Add eggs, oil, milk, vanilla, and remaining puree.
- Beat until smooth.
- Bake
- Pour into greased pans (2 round pans or 9×13 pan).
- Bake at 350Β°F / 180Β°C for 25β30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool completely.
- Frosting
- Beat butter until creamy.
- Add powdered sugar gradually.
- Mix in strawberry puree, vanilla & salt.
- If too runny, add a bit more powdered sugar.
- Assemble & Enjoy
- Frost the cooled cake generously.
- Top with fresh strawberries for extra beauty! πβ¨
