
🧾 Ingredients:
For the dough:
- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 200 g butter (softened)
- 50 g sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 200 ml milk (lukewarm)
- 7 g dry yeast (or 20 g fresh yeast)
- 1 pinch salt
For the filling:
- 300 g ground walnuts
- 150 g sugar
- 200 g apricot jam
For the topping:
- 150 g dark chocolate
- 2 tbsp butter or oil

👩🍳 Instructions:
- Activate yeast:
Mix yeast with lukewarm milk and a little sugar. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy. - Make the dough:
In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add butter, egg yolks, and yeast mixture. Knead into a smooth dough. - Divide dough into 3 equal parts.
- Assemble layers:
Roll out the first portion and place it in a greased baking pan. - Spread half of the apricot jam, then sprinkle with half of the walnut-sugar mixture.
- Add the second dough layer and repeat.
- Place the final dough layer on top.
- Rest:
Let it rest for 30–40 minutes. Prick the top with a fork.
🔥 Bake:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
- Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden
- Add topping:
Melt chocolate with butter or oil and spread over the cooled cake. - Let set completely before slicing.
