
🍝 Would You Eat This Old-School Spaghetti with Just Ground Beef?
Ingredients
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (24 oz) tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- ½ tsp sugar (optional)
- ½ tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti in well-salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Add onion and garlic; sauté until soft and fragrant.
- Stir in tomato sauce, oregano, salt, pepper, and sugar if using.
- Simmer 15–20 minutes until thick and flavorful.
- Toss with spaghetti or serve sauce over pasta.
