1. Marinate the Beef
In a bowl mix:
- soy sauce
- cornstarch
- oil
- black pepper
Add sliced beef, coat well, and marinate 15 minutes.
This makes the beef tender and velvety.
2. Make the Stir-Fry Sauce
Mix together:
- soy sauce
- oyster sauce
- cornstarch
- sugar
- beef broth
- sesame oil
Set aside.
3. Sear the Beef
- Heat oil in a wok or pan on high heat.
- Add beef in a single layer.
- Cook 1–2 minutes until browned (don’t overcook).
- Remove from pan.
4. Stir-Fry Vegetables
In the same pan:
- Add sliced onions → cook 1 minute

- Add bell peppers → stir-fry 2 minutes

5. Add the Beef Back
- Return beef to the pan
- Pour in the sauce
- Stir on high heat for 1–2 minutes until thick, glossy, and sizzling
