
Shrimp Scampi Bake 🍤🧄
A simple oven-baked version of classic shrimp scampi—juicy shrimp in a garlicky butter sauce, finished with lemon and herbs.
Ingredients
- 1½ lb (700 g) raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Zest of ½ lemon
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- ¼ cup chopped parsley
- Optional: ¼ cup grated Parmesan or breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat Oven
Preheat to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish. - Make Sauce
In a bowl, mix melted butter, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, zest, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. - Assemble
Arrange shrimp in the baking dish. Pour sauce evenly over shrimp. Sprinkle Parmesan or breadcrumbs if using. - Bake
Bake uncovered for 12–15 minutes, until shrimp are pink and cooked through. - Finish & Serve
Sprinkle with parsley and serve hot with pasta, rice, or crusty bread.
💡 Tip: Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end for a lightly golden top.
